Last summer (2021), a few golfers at The Toronto Hunt were concerned. What could they do to encourage people to get vaccinated? Governments, new media, and the Internet were throwing around news daily, often contradicting each other.
They decided to act! They asked the hospice to make wristbands promoting Double Vaccinated, which were all given away to golfers and their families. They probably didn’t make enough. 800 wristbands were gone in a matter of days. People gave them to their family and took them to work.
It was a great effort to encourage people to get vaccinated and it even became a little fund raiser for the hospice!
